Happy Days

Sorry I missed you yesterday, Wendy surprised us at 6:15 in the morning.
Wyatt was just getting ready to head out to the bus when the dogs went bananas and Wendy bounded through the door!
What a great surprise and I'm sure I don't need to tell you that of course Wyatt did NOT want to go to school if his sister was going to be spending the day, but I kicked his butt out the door anyway.

I guess the douchebag actually has a job and it's somewhere down the highway past our house and that's why he dropped her off so early.
Wendy say's he's a rigging repairman, but I can assure you I wouldn't want any rigging on my job site that that sfb (sh!t for brains) worked on and anyway I'm sure he's nothing more than a glorified gopher.
No offense to gophers.
But I'm not going to say anything bad about that waste of breathe today because this is all about the good time we had yesterday.

What contributed to our super fun day yesterday was this...

This is Judy.

She's a surprise sheep :)

Her mother is one of the 100 year old ewes that my Grampy had and there are only four of them left.
I guess Dan the Ram took a fancy to one of those old girls and look what they made.

A little Judy ❤

That ewe is so old we were surprised she was even able to carry her and let me tell you, she is one little teeny tiny lamb.
We watched them together for quite a while and then decided we needed to load her up and bring her down and make her a spot in the recovery room with Pepper.
We mixed her up a bottle and made her a nice warm bed and she settled right in

Wendy is the one that chose the name Judy.
Wyatt and I had decided on Blossom after Wyatt had told me she was a he and we had named him Shaun, but then Wen came out and said we needed to name her Judy since Grampy loved Judge Judy and since she was going to be carrying the lineage of GPK sheep she needed to be named in honor of him.

She's a good eater...

And she's sooooo sweet

In Other News

I think you should probably be sitting down for this.
Today I received child support from that Jackass 4&5!
{Wyatts Dad}
That M'r F'r called on Saturday to tell me that his Captain on the boat he fished last summer paid the money out of his own pocket because the state was so far up his a$$ about paying and threatening him with an audit.
Like that was my fault.
Keep in mind this is the first time we've heard from him since July.
And he's NINE years behind in child support.
He played the injured party card and yelled at me and told me what a terrible person I was for making his boss pay all that money and he hoped I was happy.
I told him the only thing that could make me any happier was if he were to be hit by a bus.
Then he asked to speak to Wyatt and that's when sh!t really hit the fan!
Wyatt was so calm and so cool and in no uncertain terms told that Jackass just what he thought of him.
He asked him if he knew when his birthday was and of course Jack didn't know and when Wyatt asked if he even knew how old he was that idiot said fourteen!
Wyatt is eleven.

Oh well, at least we got something.
I'm taking Wyatt to Toys-R-Us this afternoon after school to get a new Bionicle to celebrate our financial windfall.
I'm sure it will be the last we see for awhile.

Today I'm making candles.
Life is good.

Peas.

Blog Potpourri

You know what makes me mad?

The fact that Wyatt's Dad gets away with not paying child support.

Ever.

How does that work?

What a jerk.

Speaking of Wyatt, I'm mad at him too. He had me sign his progress report this morning and it totally sucked. I need to figure out how to make his education a priority to him. He is so focused on his artwork and creativity which I want to support and I do support, but how do I also instill in him the importance of science, math, and the english language. Not like I'm one to talk or anything, it's hard to stand on the soap box while being the poster child of poor choices, but maybe I could be an example of what not to do, but then I'm afraid I'd lose any shred of credibility that I may have.

Example:

"Wyatt, I dropped out of school and got married six times, but trust me, I know what I'm talking about."

Do you see my dilemma?

I need Oprah or Bill Gates to have a talk with him because I don't think I'm getting through.

Are you SO glad the election is over!!!

At this point I don't even care who won, I am just so glad it's over but I'm also SO mad that campaigning for 2012 begins tomorrow.

I think that all these jerks would be better off donating the money they spend on campaigning to the causes they support instead of on stupid commercials, yard signs and bumper stickers. Just think if all the campaign moneys had gone to the state deficits instead of down the toilet, or to the schools or the VA or homeless shelters or food banks.

I'm in favor of term limits and running on your own merits. That's what I call change.

Ok, that's all. I have to go to town this morning because...

I have to go to the bank.

And the grocery store

And the gas station.

And the post office.

Oh and what else...

Hmmm, I know there's one other place I have to go.

Oh yeah.

To my Mothers.

To get...

The computer she's giving me because she bought a new MacBook Pro so I get her old one that isn't even hardly old a shiny new (to me) glossy screen 21 inch backlit iMac!!!

OMG!!!

So now I'll have my tried and true heart of my heart air that I breathe iMac that my favorite sister gave me upstairs in my craft room and a sparkly new (to me) one downstairs!

I am the luckiest girl in the whole world :)

Except for that part about not getting child support and being married so many times.

SURPRISE

Ok, here I am!

You will NEVER believe this.

Last night about 9:30 I was on the computer working on a new web site when a car pulled in the driveway.
Now we live out in the country down a gated driveway and don't know very many people, so my mind raced as to who it could be.

I hollered out to Mike who was in the living room watching t.v to go check and see who was here.
I walked into the hall and thats when I heard it.
The slow drunken Texas drawl that I hear in my nightmares.
It was him.
My fourth and fifth husband and Father of my beloved son... It was JACK!

I almost passed out and almost peed my pants all at the same time, but I knew I had to get to Wyatt before his Dad caught him by surprise too.
Wyatt did really for real almost pass out when he saw Jack standing in the hall.
His eyes rolled back to the inside of his head and his knees gave out underneath him.
We both just stood there shaking, sick to our stomach.

Anyway, he's here on his way to Alaska where he supposedly will spend the summer fishing.
Whatever.
He's leaving tomorrow.

All I know is there's a little village somewhere in Texas that right now is missing their idiot.
Unfortunately, their idiot is at MY house.

He Said She Said

Well, it seems as though the "arctic front" has blown over. We have temperatures in the 30's again and everything is slowly thawing out.
That's all fine and well with me, although I didn't really mind the snow.

My sister from Montana arrived in Seattle today and after spending the weekend up there she and her boys will be here for the holiday. Her husband flys in Afghanistan and won't be able to make it home for Christmas this year. I'm sure it will be hard for her boys, but being entertained by crazy Aunt Marilyn and the critters hopefully won't be to bad.

It has been our (mike and I) mission this year to get Jack, Wyatt's Dad here for Christmas. He lives in Texas and is a real jerk-off, non child support paying, drunk'n, smokin', yellow eyed, foul mouthed jack-ass, but he is Wyatt's Dad and he hasn't seen him in over four years.
So, we invited him for the holiday.
Everything was all systems go until he called on Monday and said "they" would be leaving Friday.
"They" I said...
"We" he said.
Who is "we" I said.
His neighbor he said.
He's "golden" he said.
I said, I don't give a #*@%
Guests can't bring guests I said, especially not at Christmas.
He started crying and said he was calling Mike.
Go ahead I said.
He did.
Mike said what I said.
I don't think Jacks coming for Christmas.

This is a picture of Jack on our Last Christmas morning together in 2001.

Need I say more...
Do I really want to wake up to that again?
I think not.
We had the child's best interest at heart, but what the child doesn't know won't hurt him.

Mike has been working quite a bit this week thank Gawd.
We have to pay for that new m'r-f'n bulb for the t.v.
Turns out the life span of the bulb is calculated at four hours use per day.
Whatever, that t.v has been on pretty much fourteen plus hours a day since the day we got it.
I'm like a junkie on the crack when it comes to a 65' t.v. and now I have to cut back and watch all the unimportant stuff like infomercials and the news on regular t.v and save the big one for the good stuff like SpongeBob and soap operas.
I kind of feel bad when he's out working and I'm home watching t.v and eating snacks on the couch, but it times like that I just need to remember.....
If Mamma's happy, everybodys happy!

Operation Sleep Over Over

I am blessed to have a son who is shall we say in his own words "eccentric."
He has marched to the beat of his own drum since the day he got here, and I must say, it's a tune we can all dance to.

He was raised by his sister and I, and if you ask anyone who's met us they'll tell you our beat is a little off as well.

Wendy was fifteen almost sixteen when Wy was born and I was soon after single.
My Father had progressed stage cancer and I found myself back to work long days and caring for my dad full time, so a lot of the responsibility of Wyatt in his younger years was laid at Wendy's feet.
Wendy and all her teenage friends.
All girls.
Wyatt was brought up in an all girl world until just a few years ago.
Wyatt loves the ladies.

Wyatt's Dad is Jack.
Jack Ass for short.
We will go in to Jack another time, but a quick run down is this.
He is the biggest drunken illiterate red-neck you'd never want to lay eyes on.
No brains no tolerance.
Together we created Wyatt.
Wyatt is sensitive, creative, artistic, in touch, out of sight and just plain cool.

His Dad does not relate.

You can imagine how it went over when Wyatt at the age of three insisted on having a baby doll.
We took him to Target and not only did he choose his own baby, but he chose a black baby.
Baby NaiNai.
Wyatt loved baby NaiNai.
We loved Baby NaiNai.
His Dad. Not so much.
His dad. Lost his mind.
His Dad. Sent him home.
Would. Not. Let. Him. Stay. The. Night.

Ok, there's some Wy history which leads me to todays story.

Wyatt's best friend in the whole entire wide world is Shannon.
Best friends.
Ever.

They are in the same class, they talk on the phone every day, they are best friends.
Forever.

Wyatt had a sleep over last night and invited Shannon, her older sister who has to go everywhere Shannon goes, and Leighanne.

Shannon's Mom would not let Shannon and her sister stay the night.
They could spend the day, but not the night.
Leighanne could stay, but Shannon and Catherine could not.

The kids had a great time all day swimming, watching movies and playing outside.
We had pizza and popcorn for dinner.
I thought Wyatt and Shannon were going to cry when it was time to take her home.

Then there's this.
Leighanne was adopted by her Grandparents who are of appropriate Grandparent age.
When Leighannes Pappa said to her Memaw, "She's go'in to spend the night with a boy?"
Her Mem said, "Pa, it's 2008!"
Ya, duh.
It's 2008.
Even a Grandma gets it.

What do you think?
Am I weird to think it's ok?
Is Mem wrong to tell Pa it's ok?
Would you let your nine year old have a co-ed supervised sleep over?

You Can Only Wear White Once

After yesterdays post about the goat, my shoulder, Wens break-up and Wy's first day of school, there seemed to be some scuttlebutt about my marital history.
It's true, I have been married a number of times.
Six to be exact.

Here's the run down, or as close as I can recall...

I came into this world known to family and friends Marilyn Marshall.

When I was fifteen I met and married Stephen and a year (almost) later we had Wendy.
I was then Marilyn Marshall Wood.

By the time I was seventeen Steve and I were divorced.

When I was eighteen I met and Married Nick.
I was then Marilyn Marshall Wood Vasquez.

That marriage didn't last very long and was annulled so technically I don't think it counts, but for the sake of counting we'll count it.

When I was twenty five Shelley introduced me to Dave and a few months later we were married.
I was then Marilyn Marshall Wood Vasquez Pollard.

Now is when you need to really pay attention....

Dave and I didn't make it quite three years and during the third year I divorced Dave and Married Jack who I had met prior to the nuptials to Dave.

Ok, so I was twenty eight when I married Jack and within a year or so we had Wyatt.
I was then Marilyn Marshall Wood Vasquez Pollard Swafford

Another three years passed and Jack and I, to the relief of my family and friends divorced.

Within that same year, or maybe it was the next year Jack and I, to the dismay of my family and friends were married a second time.
I was then Marilyn Marshall Wood Vasquez Pollard Swafford Swafford.

Alas, again the marriage did not last and Jack and I parted ways for what my family and friends hope to be the last and final time for all eternity Amen.

When I was thirty five I met Mr Parks.
We dated.
We lived together.
We broke up.
We dated.
We lived together.
We got married.
We have been married three years.
He's my Favorite.
Lucky #6
I am now Marilyn Marshall Wood Vasquez Pollard Swafford Swafford Parks.

You can just call me Mrs Parks for short.

Picture This

Jack is alive.
He survived the surgery and he has a morphine pump and that's all I know.
Jack and morphine... I can only imagine.

Wendy made me open my birthday present early.
It's a super cool digital camera!
The camera I had I got off Craigslist two years ago, but I figured it worked just fine and didn't want a new one.
Well, she got me one anyway and it ROCKS!
It doesn't even need batteries, you charge it like a phone.
I love IT!

Mike hung all my hummingbird feeders on the deck yesterday, they are really pretty.
I have a feeling I'll be spending my summer months filling feeders.
On Wednesday he spent his entire afternoon fixing the air conditioning in my Explorer.
I thought it was pointless, but it kept him busy and if he was working outside he wasn't wearing out the carpet pacing inside.
After an entire afternoon spent in the rain he got it working!
I really didn't think he could, but he kept telling me (over and over as Mike does) that he could do it and he DID!
I dig that guy.

This morning we are going to Costco and then later this afternoon we are picking up Shannon (Wyatt's betrothed) so they can spend the afternoon together and then go to the pool this evening.
Katherine, Shannon's older and less attractive sister will come along as well and perform the duty of chaperone.
Poor girl, Wyatt and Shannon are like Frick and Frack and Katherine is like... Bob.

Gina is coming tonight!!!
I love it when Gina comes for a visit.
For one reason, we don't have many visitors and two reason she isn't just Wendy's friend, she's everybody's friend.

K, bye

Life and Death Situations

Wendy didn't take the news about Jack very well.
She kinda cried till' she almost threw up.
He isn't her Dad but he was the Dad that was there while she was growing up.

We went through this same type of thing about five years ago with her real Dad.
She'd had no contact with him since she was three years old.
No calls, no Christmas or birthday gifts, nothing.
That was ok though because he had "issues" and I had full custody.
When we got married, I was fifteen and he was twenty two and we didn't live in the Appalachia's.
Anywho, to continue with the story.
I was at work and got a call from my family saying that his family had called because Steve had been in a bad motorcycle accident and wasn't expected to live.
For reasons having to do with next of kin we made a six hour trip to the hospital to see a man Wendy didn't even know to do whatever it was that needed to be done.
When we got there and went into his room it was like some sort of Twilight Zone episode.
I was face to mangled up face with the spitting image of my daughter.
Same nose, same mouth, same everything.
Creepy.
Creepy for Wendy too.
The story goes that he didn't die, he made what I assume to be a full recovery.
When he was released from the hospital we met him and his family for dinner (that was uncomfortable) and then he turned scary stalker, following and calling Wendy which really freaked her out.
I called and told him to back the f off and leave her alone.
He told me he had "people" and could have me "taken care of" if I interfered.
I laughed and hung up and that was the end of that.

Ok, so how did I get started on that.......

Oh yeah, Wendy is very upset.
I wish I could help and make this better for her, but all I can do is love her and try to ease the painfull and confusing emotions Jacks illness is causing her.

I found out that a very special person in my life lost a close family member in a car accident this week.
It made me sick to my stomach when I got the news and it still hurts when I think about it.
I hate that feeling.

This has been a crummy week.
Next week is my birthday, I'll be forty.
Ugh.

Death and Swim Shorts

Hmmm....
Well, the dream is almost a reality.
You know all these years that I have been praying for Jack to drop dead?
Well he's dropping.
What do you do, think, or say when you get news that your twice ex-husband who was the biggest dirt bag, alcoholic, abusive, mullet sporting, white trash love of your life informs you that he may be kicking the eternal bucket?
I don't know either.
Here's the story (short version)
He called last night to let me know I may not be receiving child support for a while.
Like that has EVER been a concern of his before.
He was sick with pneumonia and has been in the hospital for over two weeks.
They had already stabbed a hole through his back to drain the fluid in his lungs but he's still not doing well so tomorrow they crack his ribs open and scrape him out.
I swear there have been nights when I have dreamed of things like this and worse.
I dreamed of the day he would fall over in a drunken stupor and whack his head open.
In my Jack death fantasy, I would take him to the hospital and the doctor would look at me and say "I'm sorry Mrs SwaffordX2, theres nothing more we can do" I would whimper a little bit and then go home and repaint the kitchen.

Since Jack has moved to Texas he's not such a thorn in my side
I can deal with the phone calls, even the ones that really piss me off, because I can just hang up and it's over.
But dead?
Never mind, I'm not even going to think about this any more because he's too much of an
A-Hole to die
I would hate to let my emotions on Jack Swafford go soft and then have him live.

Speaking of dying, one of the frogs died yesterday and I thought Mike was going to hold a service on the deck.
He was pretty torn up about it and worried about the other frogs that weren't dead, and would they die.
I haven't checked yet if there were any more frog fatalities during the night, but I will let you know after Mike does morning head count.

We took Wyatt swimming last night.
He has been begging to go for weeks, so last night we went.
The only problem was, we got to town and Wyatt realized he forgot his swim shorts.
So, we got ice cream and came home.
I was a very long ride home, with all the blubbering from the backseat about how unfair life was.
How that was all he ever wanted was to swim, and couldn't we just understand he had a lot on his mind and that sometimes people forget, and couldn't we just wheel into K-Mart and buy some new shorts?
Whatever, through tears and rainbow sherbet we somehow survived the ride home, I gave him a watercolor set from Grandma and life was worth living again.

Amazing how fast we can bounce back from tragedy.
I have to go wash George.

Good Morning Sunshine!

Wyatt is on the bus.
Wendy spent the night at a friends house.
Mike is at work.
GK is.............DONE WITH HIS TAXES!
He took them in yesterday :)

Today is my Sister Kelly's anniversary.
(Hah JCarlson, beat you again!)
Happy anniversary K and best regards to your Husband as well.

I remember the wedding like it was yesterday.
As a family (or maybe it was just me) we still weren't that close, but I remember how beautiful and happy Kelly was.
I remember how happy I was for her.
I had already been married twice, but neither of my marriages had the umph that I saw in the relationships my sisters had with their husbands.
So, I decided to get married again.
I had just started dating....we'll call him "Bob".
Bob was way older than I was, and the way I had things figured out, with age came security and good sense.
Bob was the one.
He was fun, handsome, a good father and he loved me.
We were married within a year, and it was THE BEST wedding ever.
The marriage didn't work out, but I will always have the memories of a beautiful day and that tattoo on my left breast (my right arm and my left ankle) to remind me that marriage is about more than the moment you say I Do, what you "think" it should be and three kegs.

Then came my next two marriages to Jack (that is his real name.)
I don't even have an excuse for that time in my life.
What was I thinking.
Not once, but TWICE.
Thank God I got Wyatt out of that deal or the late 90's and first two or three years of the 21st century would have been a total waste.

So, anyway K, I'm glad you did it right the first time.
You have a wonderful family and I am VERY happy to be able to say I am a part of that family and I love you.
Congratulations and many happy returns on the day.

JCarlson made a lentil soup for dinner last night and I made her send me a picture of it.
It looks so good that I will make up the recipe and post a picture of it on the recipe page.
Be sure to check it out.

I'm going to get a fresh cup of coffee and go sit on the deck in the sun and smoke now.
Enjoy the day!

OMG

The phone woke me up this morning.
I was sleeping so hard, like taking a nap on the couch in the sun on a hot day.
I was dreaming about JACK.
He was the BIGGEST pain in the ass ever, like Bill Murray in What about Bob, and the worst part was he LIVED with us.
Talk about a friggin nightmare.

Super Food Sunday!

Wow, I love Super Bowl.
I don't really watch the game, but I cook and eat stuff ALL day.
Then I take a nap and get up and have dinner.

I made buffalo wings, chorizo bean dip, cheese and crackers and some artichoke dip.
About noon I put some ribs on the new BBQ and slow cooked them till' 6:00.

GK kept asking all day if we were having company : )

I am SO full tonight.

GK's cough is still REALLY bad and STILL getting worse.
I will call the doctor tomorrow to see if there is anything they can do.
Last night he coughed till' he was throwing up.
I'm glad I don't have any oogy issues with bodily functions, because trust me it's goin all day.
Anywho, he can't keep going on like this, it's to hard on him.

Mike went to work at 7:00 tonight and won't be home till' tomorrow mid morning, so Wendy is tucked in his bed tonight.
She has worked over 60 hours in six days and is pretty beat.
I know this is hard for anyone who knows Wendy to believe, but she has been getting up at 6:00am to be to work by 6:45.

Here's a Jack update.

He called tonight and told Wyatt that he is sending $100.00 for his birthday.
That's so nice....
Isn't there something in the Bible about lying to children?
Grammy always said "liars go to Hell", and I don't think she just made that up.

Ummm... I think that's all for today

OH!

I finished the "snow cammo" blanket
It is big and tacky.
If I knew I was going to put THAT much effort into it, I would not have used scrap yarn.
Whatever.
It's BIG.
I'll post a picture tomorrow.

Ok, I think that's it

Good Night

Anni Wilkes

I just got home from the big house. GK and I were watching Misery. I realized that not only is it a scary movie, but what makes it REALLY scary is I look JUST like Kathy Bates. I swear to Gawd. I will Google a picture so you can see for yourself. I had to come home to watch GH, but GK is glued to the set. Tonight we're going to get a pizza and watch Lake Placid over there. BEST MOVIE EVER. Thanks Shelley. I can't see it enough and love Bettty White in it. Hard to believe GK has been missing out on these fine filmatic treasures all these years.
He and John went to town this morning and bought all the flooring for the kitchen. It's walnut Pergo and I think it will look so good. John is going to start on Monday and figures it will take two or three days. I am really excited to see how it turns out.
Mike is stopping by Johns on his way home from work to pick up the saw he needs to use and will set up shop in the garage.

I got an e.mail from Drew last night! That was so cool. He said he and Quinn would like to read the blog at home.
Hi Drew and Quinn!!
It's interesting reading the letters from Lloyd forwarded by Kelly. It would be dumb to say it sounds like he's in a foreign country because duh, he is. It really sounds like a whole different world though. Hard for me to even imagine the things he tells about. I can imagine the Baskin and Robbins ice cream bar in the mess hall, but thats about it. Drew and Quinn could have the best stories for show and tell ever, thats for sure.

I was outside with the dogs this morning and found eleven eggs in one duck nest and twelve in the other! I hope the eggs hatch. I read that they lay between twelve and fifteen eggs before they start to sit on them, so maybe soon. Mike found an Easter egg last night : ) I told him to leave it there until next year. Then it will really be a surprise.

Ummmm.....Wyatt is on a field trip today. His class went to Portland to see a play of the Boxcar Children. He has been looking forward to this all week. He should be on his way back to school by now. Last night we went to town to get him a lunchable for today and there was a little girl in front of us in line from his class, and I swear, she was such a brat. Her dad wasn't much better. He wouldn't even smile at us when we said hello. Don't you hate jackass parents. It really is no wonder why some kids are the way they are. It's not like he even knew we were white trash or anything either because we were at Haggen. I asked Wyatt if she was rude to him at school, and he said she wasn't, but you would never know it by how she acted in the store.
Anyway, I'm over it now. I need to remember too, that Wyatt is kind of an Eddie Haskel, so maybe I expect to much from other kids.
Jack called today to tell me he was sick. Unfortunetly, not to sick to keep him from dialing the phone. Maybe that's why he's on the MaryJane. Medicinal purposes. I was rather short with him and he lost interest in our conversation. He told me if I wanted to talk more later I would have to call him on his cell phone because the land line had already been dissconected.
Idiot.

Ok, so thats about it I guess. I think when we go to town to get the pizza I will swing into K-Mart and pick up a hair frosting kit and see if I can shake this Kathy Bates look I got goin' on. That should make for some good blog material tomorrow.
Till then....
Adios

Saturday

All is good on the farm today.
The goose laid an egg and the ducks have three in the nest. We won't have baby geese because we don't have a boy goose, but when the ducks get between 8 and 12 eggs they will start sitting and with any luck we will have baby ducks pretty soon!

Gk slept really well last night and feels good today. We are going to Dohn and Jonna's for dinner tonight and he is really looking forward to that. Mike just went to town to get the guts for my signature dessert dish....Cool whip surprise Delight.
I don't know if it's anyones favorite, but it's what I know. I need to think about what the surprise will be today.

I wish I could wave a magic wand and be skinny. I am so tired of being fat. My bones hurt, my clothes don't fit and I am soo uncomfortable. All the time. I have to do something. It may be time to resort to something radical. Exersise. I'm not saying I will, I'm just considering it. I wish I could just become one of those crazy extremist's who only eat healthy food because they can't handle the thought of preservatives and sugar. You know, like a peetist or a vulcan. Heres what worry's me about losing weight. What if I lost so much that I turned into a saggy sack. have you seen Courtney Love? GROSS. What about Oprah? she's really fleshy too. I'm not saying it's better to be fat, but at least you fill out your skin.

News flash.
Wyatt say's he's done playing with dolls and no longer wants to be a designer.
He was in town last night and only looked at boy toys. I figure it's because he has all the girl toys and needs some varitey.
A part of me would be very sad to see him grow out of this stage, but if he wants to play with Lego's and Ninja Turttles, so be it. He got a new bucket of clay and is making claymation things. He digs that, and it's still creative. He didn't even want to watch Project Runway with me today though. Oh well, they all grow up sooner or later.

K, ready for this............
JA called from Texas early this morning and woke us up. He called to say he is sending Wyatt something his Dad carved out of wood. He must of felt compelled to honesty because he told Mike he would be going back to work in 30 days. He has already been off 30. Know why??????
Suspension for failing a DRUG test.
HA!
I swear, just when I think that creep gets away with everything he fry's his own bacon.
Failing a drug test. can you believe it! Jack Swafford, Mr. Anti-Drug. Got baked at a bbq and tagged the NEXT day!
Good things do come to those who wait, and trust me, I've been waiting. So, Monday morning I will call Clemmie in Texas and fill her in on what happened and with any luck the judge will take stonger action against him. This also takes care of any more conversation with Jack about Wyatt coming for any Texas vacation time.
Hmmm.... I wonder how Charlene feels about sending Dalton to live with his Dad now. Two weeks after he gets there Jack loses his job for two months for smokin' dope. I bet she has to send more money so they can still afford smokes and vodka.
I shouldn't gloat. That isn't nice. HaHa!!!!! HA!

Later!

City Dump

Did everyone get the David Copperfield e-mail kelly sent to me that I sent to everyone?
Freaky creepy! How does stuff like that work? Remember the one about the toes? I don't remember what it was but it was creepy to.

I'm cleaning today. Feh. Yech. Ick.
Why is it I don't mind cleaning at the big house, but something about my own filth bothers me. I have the bathroom soaking as we speak and next I need to clean Wyetti's room. That place is a real hogpile. I can't imagine how he pigs that room up so fast. Sometimes in the morning when I go to wake him up I cant even see him. I need to clean, throw out half of everything and organize the rest. The worst part is when he gets home, he will love the clean room, but not miss a thing that's gone because he has so much crap. They say every time you bring something new in, take something old out. I remember when I was a kid my Mom telling me to clean my room. She would set a timer. Once when I didn't finish she came in and dumped EVERYTHING out in the middle of the room. EVERYTHING. Another time I didn't do a good job and came home from school and EVERYTHING had been thrown out my second story bedroom window. EVERYTHING. Even my bed. I wish they had prozac back then, I think one of us needed it. Anyway, I won't lose my mind over Wyatt's room and he will be so surprised when he gets home. It will be a good thing. I need to get his closet ready for kitten delivery pretty soon too. For some reason Oreo always goes in his closet to have her babies. Maybe she feels safe in the mess. Like she blends in and won't be noticed.

John got the cabinet doors back in today. I am ashamed to say, they look great. I am ashamed to say it because I was so against it. He did a very good job and they look sooo nice. This afternoon or tomorrow I will wash everything on the shelves and arrange it so the teacups are on the bottom shelf where you can see them. I think Grammy would have really liked it.
I will take a picture when I have everything cleaned up.
I watered all the flowers this morning and the fushia's are growing so fast. They are the upright kind and I think they will do well. Julie bought some geraniums at Costco and they are the really big hearty kind. So pretty, and they are doing really well to. The roses are starting to get their leaves and have all been pruned back. They didn't do so good last year, really leggy and sparse. Lets hope for better this year.

Gk was up at 2:30 this morning. He said he just couldn't sleep. He got up and sat in his chair with the dogs and watched CNN.
I feel so bad and wish there was something more I could do. He talked to his oldest sister in Minnesota last night. He was happy to talk with her but it also makes him sad. I think he misses his family a lot right now. I know how much he misses Grammy and how empty the house feels. It's a void that can't be filled for him now. He can try and keep his mind busy, but you know it keeps drifting back to Grammy. It's like he goes along and is o.k for a time and then something strikes him and you can see the look in his eyes, he just gets filled with sadness. The death certificate came in the mail yesterday and that was just one more thing to make it real. So sad.
Listen to this.
I wrote an obit for the paper.
Modest, non-wordy, pleasant, nice.
350.00$$
Can you believe that!
So what I think I am going to do is have it printed on some pretty paper and mail it to everyone. What do you think of that idea? I won't even charge anyone. I'll let you know if I get ot done, and then you can let me know if you want a copy or how many copies you want.

Wyatt's Nintendo charger just arrived via UPS. He will be very excited. He never played until the cousins were her, and now he loves it. I think we may have to buy him another game.
Oh yeah......get this.
Jack Ass called last night, all drunked up.
When Wyatt told him his Grammy had died JA asked to talk to me and started CRYING, saying how sorry he was for our loss and that he feels our pain. What an idiot. He also told me that I would be getting child support again soon. He had been laid off for doing something he was "very ashamed of" but got to go back to work soon. Don't ask, I didn't touch it. I didn't want to know. I doubt I will see any money any time soon.

Mike just called and said he is having a good day. He is on his second load. The first went to Seaside, and this one is from Longview to Molalla. Val, do you remember when we drove from Bellingham to Longview in search of Cowboy Clint. I was going to confess my love and move to Texas with him. Then we figured out he had gone to Longview Texas and not Longview Washington. Long trip, but a good time.
Anywho, back to Mike. He almost had a stroke last night over his KFC. They messed his order up TWO times in a row. He was all fired up. The Jerkoff 17 year old manager throwing his weight around didn't help matters. Thinking back it's kind of funny, but last night it was serious business.
O.k, I think that's all for now. I need to go find an old toothbrush and clean the tub.

Bye Bye

eeeewwwwwww

GK and I took the poodles to the vet this morning for the pre-teeth cleaning check.
Yech.
It was soooo gross.
Who knew such little dogs could have such gross teeth.
As soon as I got home I looked at our fat dog's teeth.
They were all ok.
Thank Gawd.
Gross.
The girls go in next Tuesday and Thursday for the cleaning.
They have to be on anti-biotics till then so when they do the cleaning the grossness that comes off won't make them sick.
I think I need to go to the dentist to.
I hope my teeth don't look that bad : (

Wyatt is back in school today.
He was sad to go because Drew and Quinn are still here.
I think Kelly is going to try and book a flight for tomorrow.
I talked to Julie this morning and they had a good trip home and Olin is out of school this week on spring break.
Ingrid is not on break so Julie had to take her in to school this morning.
Isn't that retarded?
I think all the kids in the same district should be out at the same time.
If I was in charge thats how I would do it.

John was over today to burn garbage, but the weather has been so iffy, I don't think he got much done.
It is raining one minute and sunny the next.
Cold and windy too.

Um yeah.
Lets talk about this.
Jack quit paying his child support again.
Paid it just long enough to get out from under the courts nose and then quit.
He is such an ass.
I have called Texas and talked to the same lady a few different times.
I told her she was my only friend in Texas and thanked her for helping me.
She said "no problem Marilyn, I'll talk to you next week".
Clemmie from Texas.
Thanks Clemmie.

Ok, my show is going to be on in a little bit.
I have to go make my lunch.

Kinda Fishy

Well, it's still early, but here's how things are going today.
Grammy woke up feeling great.
Hungry and ready to start the day.
When I asked her how she slept last night she told me.....
"with my eyes closed"
Old joke, but still funny.

Gk seems to be doing well.
He has big plans for the day.
Taking one of the cars through DEQ, they both need to go.
He wants to do some work up in the barn, and finish up his tax stuff.
He's moving a little slower today then he was over the weekend, but still feeling pretty good.
It was great to watch him doing stuff this weekend.
Kind of like he had spring fever.
He was so happy and felt so good, and really got a lot done.

Uncle John has been MIA all weekend.
No call, no nothing.
GK is worried that something may have happened to his Brother in law in Spokane.
I hope he calls today, Gk misses him.

GK's dumb white dog hurt her leg this weekend, Saturday I think.
Now she stinks and limps.

Mike and Wyatt had a good family visit.
I sent eight goose eggs with them and said to tell Maddy they were from the Oregon Easter Bunny.
I guess they had a good time painting them, but fought over who got the cracked one.
Mike took them to Wal-Mart and Wyatt got more "Magic of the Rainbow" toys and Maddy got the barbie with the dog that poops!
As you can imagine, a good time was had by all.

Grandma Sharron gave Wyatt a fishbowl and some rocks.
We took him to the "ghetto" fish store and in a dark corner he found a pink Betta fish.
He named her Rose.
He bought a raibow castle to put in the bowl for her and he is now a very proud fish owner.

My sister Kelly told me a long time ago that God may very well have made Wyatt to teach Jack a lesson and I think she was right.
Can you just imagine....clear your head for a minute.......
Picture Jack.......

Big round bald head.
Brown teeth.
Googly yellow eyes.
Bad Texas drawl.
Smells like cigerettes and whiskey.

K, ready.......

Aint no boya mine gonn play wit no gaw dam dolls an hava pink gaw dam fish.
No Way. I sa No Way.

O.k, now think of a field full of wildflowers...
Birds singing....
Your back in a happy place now.

Remember when Wyatt got his first doll?
Shelly and Wendy and I took him to Target and he HAD to have a BLACK baby doll.
He named her ShaNaiNai.
Baby ShaNaiNai.
Then remember when he got a little older and got his first black barbie!

Yes indeed.
I think Kelly was right.
God is teaching Jack a lesson.

I think that's all I have to talk about right now.
