Well, we cleaned Wyatt's room yesterday. Another mission accomplished. I can't understand how it gets so bad so fast. Well, yes I can. I'm the one who slept on the couch for an entire winter until Wendy said I had to clean my room and sleep in my own bed. I think I'm just lucky to have Mike to keep our ship shape.
After We were done I headed to the Hospital. They called to say Gk was having a hard time and needed some family grounding. Kelly left before I did and was helping him kind of understand where he was. He thought he was in Vancuver, but needed to go to Woodburn and wanted Kelly to take him there. I'm glad he looks to her for transportaion instead of me because he can get pretty fired up when he doesn't get to go. When I got there he asked how my tooth was and how the dogs were. Then we just sat and watched a building going up across the street, a man riding a horse out in the pasture and contemplated all the rocks that needed moving. All that from his Hopital room. So, as you can imagine, he is still a little out of it.
After talking to the Doctor, Kelly and I headed for Costco. She gave Mike and I a gift card, so off we were to make good use of it. Costco is not only a good place to shop, but a great way of wasting an entire afternoon while snacking, reading and people watching. The most astute observation I made yesterday was that while most everyone who shops there is fat, they don't sell fat girl clothes. I picked up one sweater that was an XL but it would not have fit Wyatt. Who are they trying to kid?
Kelly got a new phone while we wre there. She got a great deal on a new Razor. Funny she had to come to OREGON to get hip.
While she was doing that, I went to the techie department and asked the kid how to post video on the blog. He told me to do it through youtube with an easy explanation of how to. I got home and...walaaa!!! We now have "video blog". Very easy. So easy even I could do it.
I bought one of those long pork loins. Kelly told me thats the only way to go for pork chops. Cheap and really good, cut to your desired thickness. We had stuffed pork chops and a fresh salad for dinner, and cheesecake with berries and whip cream for dessert. Yummy.
I talked to Julie yesterday. I hate to even repeat her day, but I will. It started out with Ingrid slamming her finger in the car door, smashing it to guts and bone. Uughghhh. Doesn't that make your stomache hurt. I feel so sorry for Ingrid. I feel so sorry for Mike and Julie. When stuff like that happens to your kids, I think it can hurt you just as bad. Then Julie and a friend made an entire "Indian", like east Indian, not native American, dinner for almost a hundred people. A good friend of hers turned fifty and had a big party. Turning fifty, I hope her stomache could handle all the spice. I hope she took a Zantac first. Acid reflux gets worse the older you get.
In my book, that's a big day. I think I would have gone back to bed after the finger crisis.
I have to go shower. We are taking Wyatt shopping for pants today. Both outer and inner. We just had to buy new shoes last week. Not just because of the stink, but because his feet are growing so fast. Just like the rest of him
have a good Sunday
