I'm Still Here!

OMG, am I a bi-polar blogger or what!

Just to let you know what a LOSER I am, I haven't even sent Ginger her winnings yet, or even drawn a winner for the green goods.

I could go into everything we have been doing and why I haven't had time to blog, but I don't have time : )

We went to Eastern Oregon two weeks ago to pick up my nephew Quinn who lives in Montana but caught a ride with a friend from Idaho and we have been having a great time. You might remember him from last year, but if not, here's a picture.

I don't have any pictures from this year yet, and that's Wendy in the middle and even though it looks like she's missing a front tooth, she's not. She actually has great teeth. This was taken after they finished their white trash tie dye with spray paint.

My sooper dooper very good friend Kenna was here with her two boys for four days over the holiday weekend and we had a GREAT time, but I don't have any pictures of that either.

What I do have pictures of is Tina getting her first haircut! Can you believe she's ten and no one ever had her hair cut or her feet trimmed?

Here's a before picture...

And here's an after picture...

The Llama Shearer made me a screamin' deal on a mother and cria that are being delivered tomorrow. Whatever you do though, don't tell 6. He'll have a cow, and I already have enough of those in the yard ; )

I have to go make lunch.

Ciao'!

  1. Tina looks so lovely shorn! Are you doing anything with the fiber? There's a woman on SJ who keeps Angora bunnies and spins yarn to make knitted things out of their fur. If that's not your thing (sounds like you're already pretty busy!) I bet you could find a spinner/fiber artist who would love that stuff!

  3. Erin!
A cria is a baby camelid... Llama, alpaca, camel.
A mother is a female that nurtures it's young.

  4. I think you may be overstating that nurturing part... Some mothers are far more nurturing than others. You, for example, are a mother nature nurturer :)

BTW - I thought that shearer was number 6, kinda similar from the back, thanks for clarifying. Tina looks SO MUCH happier!
